Alice placed Fourth—bested by three authors with many years of writing experience and multiple books. Alice was honored to be in their company.

The old west has not disappeared, and Alice has made it her mission to bring real people in history back to life in her books. Alice enjoys not only writing historical fiction for young people, she loves teaching about the history of the west and explaining the true events that inspire her stories.
